I have been teaching maths in schools since 1992, preparing students for GCSEs and A-Levels since that time. I was head of maths in Ridgewood School, Doncaster before moving onto a leadership role responsible for curriculum and timetable at Hemsworth Academy. Today I tutor full-time, allowing me to devote all my professional time to helping students succeed in mathematics. This gives me more time to focus on individual students and to spend my time doing what I love most - helping maths make sense for others.

 I also mark GCSEs each summer as an examiner for the Edexcel exam board.

 

When I'm not teaching maths you'll probably find me with my family, we have two grown up children now, or walking in the woods with my crazy springer spaniel Mila :-)
